We are EPS Financial, a division of Pathward, and we are the service you selected at the time of tax preparation that allows you to pay your tax preparation fees with your tax refund. Your money is initially sent to a temporary account that we setup for you before the fees are removed and the remaining balance is disbursed to you.

According to www.irs.gov, the current issuing time for most tax returns is more than 21 days. However, this can take longer. To check your tax refund status and to learn more about the IRS issuing time, click here. Due to the PATH Act, certain refunds including EITC and ACTC will be delayed until late February.

Your money becomes available as soon as the funds are released from the IRS or the state. If you are receiving direct deposit of your refund proceeds, keep in mind that your bank may have a holding period from that issuing date of 24-72 hours. We accept most common identification card such as State Driver’s license, U.S. Military Driver’s License, State Issued identification Card, U.S. Military identification Card, and a U.S. or foreign passport are accepted (foreign passports must be submitted in color). The ID’s must be current and unexpired.

Acceptable proof of address include: a utility bill, a photo ID that shows your correct address, a bank statement, a phone bill, a change of address form from the USPS, a pay-stub, or any official government mail.
